Did you know VASCEPA is the first and only FDA-approved prescription EPA treatment?

VASCEPA is clinically proven to lower very high triglycerides without raising bad cholesterol (LDL-C) and doesn't contain DHA.

However, dietary supplements and prescription products, such as omega-3-acid ethyl esters, do contain DHA which has been shown to raise bad cholesterol (LDL-C).

Since many patients with high triglycerides also have elevated LDL, this may not be consistent with your overall treatment objectives.

Why is it important to take the 4-gram daily dose of VASCEPA?

To ensure you get the full benefit of VASCEPA, it’s important to take the FDA-approved 4-gram dose each day as your doctor prescribes. In clinical testing, patients taking the 4-gram daily dose of VASCEPA, along with a healthy diet, lowered very high triglycerides by 33% without raising bad cholesterol.* Taking less than this recommended daily dose did not achieve these results.1
